Top Two Is Impossible

Top Two Is Impossible

After a crushing last gasp defeat at the hands of Liverpool at Anfield last night, Arsene Wenger told the Highbury faithful what we have all been saying for a while, a top two finish is impossible.

I will save my views of the game for an article dues to hit the shelves shortly, but it goes without saying, Arsenal were not at the races, speaking after the game, Wenger said,

'Automatic qualification in the top two, certainly not, but qualification is still possible. But it will be hard,'

'The Champions League is important, the reality is there so we just have to fight harder next time.

'At the moment we are struggling for confidence and that can effect the senior players as well as the younger ones.'

Anyone could have told us that a while back! I think we are still in with a shout for 3rd.
