Bergkamp Ready To Make Trip

Arsenal Legend, Dennis Bergkamp, says he is willing to travel by car to Madrid in order to help Arsenal overcome the biggest Champions League obstacle they have ever faced.

The non-flying Dutchman is prepared to grab his packed lunch and thermos to make a 2000 mile round trip to add some vital experience to the team. Bergkamp rarely makes away trips in Europe through his fear of flying, but is willing to go the long way round to make this one.

'I am prepared to go but it's up to the boss,' said Bergkamp.

'I am just happy to play in any game but I can't talk about games in Europe when I am not even playing at home.'

Bergkamp also thinks if we can nick a goal over there, then we have a great chance of qualifying.

'It's important we get a goal in the Bernabeu,' he said.

'If we score then we know we have a great chance in the return leg at Highbury. If we can do that then we have a very good chance of going through.'
