Baptista Kills Swap Rumours
Last summer's transfer target, Julio Baptista, has stated he never intended to join Arsenal.
Rumour's have been rife of late that Real Madrid and Arsenal will do business in the summer, engineering a swap deal that would see Baptista join the Gunners and Ashley Cole go the other way.
However Baptista's current statement suggests he is happy at Real.
'Nothing Arsenal said last summer interested me,' claimed Baptista.
'I was grateful to them for the offer but it was always better for me to go to Madrid
'And for the time being I am not regretting it.'
