Real Gave Us A Chance To Play

Super Swede, Freddie Ljungberg, says the way Real Madrid play football is perfect for the time and space the Gunners need to play their own game.

Arsenal, have of late, been up against some physical sides who have punished us in the centre of the pitch, but Freddie thinks we are more suited to playing against teams who have passing qualities and flair rather than brute force.

“I said when I saw the draw that they could suit us quite well, they gave us a chance to play, there was a lot of space and you could take a couple of touches on the ball.

“We were underdogs for a reason — our results in the Premiership. In the Champions League we had played really well and we had the belief in the side that this game was really going to suit us well. The important thing was to stand up and be counted for and play our technical game. It feels good at the moment but it is only half time.”

He's right BUT they will learn from that and in the second leg expect Zidane on the left Beckham coming inside from the right and Guti with Baptista in the middle. that midfield can mix it and will!
