Toure: Blackburn Result Vital

Kolo Toure has urged Arsenal team mates to recreate their Champions League form in the Premiership.

Arsenal recorded a victory in Madrid on Tuesday night that saw them become the first ever English team to win at the Bernabeau. The Gunners have recorded victories in all but one (A 0-0 draw with Ajax)of their Champions League campaign, a statistic that is far from mirrored in the premiership.

“It was really important to put in a performance like this at Real Madrid especially when you know we have had a hard time,” said Toure. “It was a good response from the group and I hope that will help us to show our Arsenal spirit.

“We now need to do something good against Blackburn. We need to do the same thing in the Premiership as well. We have the second half against Real Madrid and it is going to be tough. But we just need to think of the next game coming.”

I think the team will still be high from beating madrid so I think we will win.
