Cesc Called Up For Spain

Cesc Fabregas has been called up into the Spanish squad for the first time in his short, but illustrious career.

Spain face the Ivory Coast next week, and the Spain cheif has seen enough of young Cesc over the past few months to see that his performances merit a call up.

Fabregas has recently said one of his goals for this season is to make the world cup squad.

Given our very poor season so far, Fabregas has been one of the only shining lights.

He deserves no less. Cesc has been a revelation since his arrival at Highbury, at 18 years old, he presence of mind and awareness of the game is uncanny. Nice one Cesc.

This guy is special. His ability to read the game and his slide rule passing is a thing of beauty. I do hope that his size wont hold him back. Could do with serious beefing up.
