Campbell To Miss Madrid Return

Campbell To Miss Madrid Return

Earlier in the week Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, confirmed Sol Campbell will not be fit in time for Real Madrid's visit to Highbury in the Champions League.

Sol has suffered bruising of the bone and will not be available for the biggest European game Highbury has ever seen.

“Sol will not be in the group against Real Madrid,” said the manager. “He will be too short.

“He has not played and he has not been in full training yet. He is only with the fitness coaches at the moment, so he needs at least a week with the team.”
