Van Persie Can Move On

Robin van Persie can now move into a new chapter of his life with Arsenal Football Club.

The Dutchman was arrested on June 13th 2005,under allegations of rape. Robin spent two weeks in prison while investigations took place.

All charges have now been dropped.

Arsene Wenger and the club stuck by Robin through this ordeal and he in turn has, and is repaying the club with the signing of a new contract until 2011, and with his performances and goals on the pitch.

Van Persie is now free to put the entier saga behind him and concentrate on his football.

This can only be good for the man and his team.

Time for him to concentrate on getting fit and get back on the goal scoring trail.

This has probably been in the back o his mind, even more so when he's injured but now hecan get on with getting fit and help us qualify 4 the Champions League and win it!!

I can't believe they were allowed to hold him in jail for so long when it was blatantly a load of horse crap. On the plus side, its probably made him grow up quickly and he knows success in life will come from working hard on the football pitch.
