Jens Agree's New Deal

Arsenal's German stopper, Jens Lehmann, has agreed a new one year deal with the Gunners, although the contract is as yet, unsigned.

Arsene Wenger today revealed that Lehmann has agreed to a new one year extension which will keep the 36 year old at the club.

Jens has been in fine form this season, making little or no mistakes. It's true that Lehmann has a temper problem, but if you ask me, that just adds to his charm.

“We will extend his contract for one year,” said Wenger . “It has not been signed but it has been agreed.”

Excellent news. Jens has arguably been the best keeper in the prem this season, not bad for a crazy old man :)

But I do wish he will not keeping shoving players to the ground.

Great news for Arsenal, even if we do get a new keeper, having quality, experienced back-up is great for the team.
