'If It's Football, It's Vital'

With Style And Dignity

Arsene Wenger has said he wants to represent the Premier League and English football in the Champions League by playing with style and dignity.

Le Boss steered his Arsenal heroes into the last 8 of Europes Premier competition last night with a superb 'win' over the Spanish Galactico's.

Wenger has always, always tried to stay true to his beleifs and play football the way it was meant to be played, whilst also remaining respectful and showing a touch of class.

Wenger said, 'We are very proud to be representing the Premier League and English football with style and dignity. We will try and fight our best in the quarter finals.'

Some may see this as a sly dig at Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, who shows anything but class, and they would probably be right :)

we have english players but they are all very young and not ready for big games like this and you know we would have had ash and sol playing if we could but there unfortunately injured so they cant play and i think you should be supporting us not putting us down we are english after all ;-)
zinadene zawho??????
english my arse-nal! what kind of english talent do you have? you have 2 rapidly ageing english players who are just as bad as darren anderton and some other 'english' players who no-oner has even heard of. sounds really promising! it will be nice to see spurs dominating your french team for generations to come

we hace 2 of the greatest players ever to wear an england shirt, gilbert, walcott and other english talent coming up through the ranks who in several years will be the stars of arsenal many of them have already shown there talent and many will get there chance very soon so dont tell us we have no english talent because i feel the younger english players are the future of this great club and tottenham are crap
zinadene zawho??????
Are you honestly comparing Darren Anderton (30 caps) with mainstays of the English defence for the last few years Sol Campbell (66 caps) and Ashley Cole (44 caps). You're strange.
