Can We Catch The Scouse??

If I didn't know better, I'd say that AW has had a few too many since the amazing win over Real Madrid the other night, because not only does he believe we will finish in the top four, but that we can also catch Liverpool. Optomistic or what.

However before we can think about that, we have the small task of actually beating Liverpool at Highbury on Sunday, after that, we will talk business.

Although that has not deterred the Boss from finding the glass half full.

'We want to finish in the top four and we have a good opportunity to show that,' the Arsenal manager declared.

'We have just won at Fulham and we want to come back into a position where we can go in front of Tottenham and we want to take that opportunity on Sunday against Liverpool, who are in the same position as us because they played on Wednesday night.

'They had a disappointment, so we have a little advantage on the psychological side.'

Wenger insisted: 'I am convinced it can only give strength to believe a little bit now.

'We believe we will come back in the top four - and I believe we can even catch Liverpool.'

It's amazing what a little bit of confidence can do for you.

The win by Bolton also bolster their chances for a place in the CL next season. Now really important for us to concentrate on the remaining games.

We have the ability, without a shadow of a doubt. If we can maintain our confidence and therefore our form, we should be able to do it.

8 points sometimes looked a very big gap but it can also be turned around quickly. We just have to make sure that we get maximum points of the remaining games.

8 points isn't that much at all... if Liverpool continue their hangover and ineffeciency in front of goal, it's definitely possible.
