Double Boost For Arsene

Sol Campbell and Robin van Persie will both participate in a behind closed doors friendly tomorrow.

As the Champions League quarter final nears, the pair continue on their road to recovery with another behind closed doors friendly.

Neither player has played since the 3-2 home defeat to West Ham earlier this season, but both will be welcomed back to sure up defence and attack.

Match report tomorrow.

This is excellent news... hopefully they'll both be fit and on form for the season run-in.

I think van Persie is the more Vital of the two. We need a clinical finisher, the past few game we could have won by plenty more goals had we had a natural finisher in the side.
Rocky7
Yeah, I agree, I thought Adebayor was shocking!
pitythefool
no thats just the team they are all s**t apart from henry who as a spurs fan is the best striker in the world and bergkamp who is a spurs fan so really to get a clinical finisher u av to look at the young english players like defoe not go to france and buy all the players there also u need to sort out ur eygpt camp as the kids get taught to pass and dive that really kickin divers out of football i bet u all went mad when u see robben or c ronaldo dive but when pires does it u all call for a foul

Henry is a Spurs fan too? Too much heartbreaking news in one day. I always wondered why he never pulled his finger out and contributed to the team. It must explain all our failure over recent years and all your success.
pitythefool
ignore the spud gys. he obviously has no brains or he would support a proper team. good both are almost back. we need RVP to lift the burden on henry scoring goals and Sol to jut add a little bit more experience in our backline.
itsup4grabsnow
Bottomline we need all the injured players back asap. We are now in the final push and they are all important.
HK_Gunner
Leave them on the bench against Pompey they are too good and not fit enough yet to be playing at Fratton Park. I hope.
pompeygray
You can hope all you want, Van Persie is going to be hungry to get back in the first team... hat-trick at Fratton Park?
