Henry: Nothing Has Changed

Speculation in the press this week has suggested that Thierry Henry has verbally agreed to join Barcelona in this summer's transfer window.

Henry helped Arsenal to a 3-0 win over Charlton at Highbury today and after the match told his worrying fans that nothing has changed.

'There have been some more stories about my future in the papers this week,' Henry wrote.

'The papers write what they want to write and I would just say this - there are no quotes from me in the story, no quotes from Barcelona, no quotes from anyone.

'If the papers want to speculate, they will speculate like they have done all season, but my position remains exactly the same.'

Henry insisted: 'Nothing has changed in the past couple of weeks.'

The news that he has not agreed to join Barca will delight Arsenal fans, however the fact that Titi still hasn't made up his mind is more than a cause for concern.

yep, hes still off to barca, and hes still refusing to sign hes gonna mug you all off and laugh in your faces
rth
Can yo please rest him from the Pompey game and save him for Juventus ?
pompeygray
But I thought you lot loved Henry Pompeygray, you gave him such a standing ovation when we played you in the fa cup that he says he has a special place in his heart for Portsmouth.
Rocky7
Why is he stalling on signing then ???
JACK_THE_LAD
He's not stalling. Stalling would be making up excues for not singing, where as Henry said he would base his decision on whether the club had tha same ambition as he did, and that he would decide at the end of the season. So how is he stalling?
Rocky7
hes stalling until the end of the season, so barca will give him a bigger pool
rth
Er, so he's not stalling then, he just isn't prepared to answer a straightforward question because..... he hasn't made his mind up. Yet. Definately not stalling. At all. No. Clearly not. Who would suggest such a thing? I'd ban anyone who came out with that type of crazy talk.
