'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Henry And The Unfinished Story

When the final whistle went at the Delle Alpi on Wednesday night, Henry allowed himself a little smile and quickly punched the air in the direction of the travelling Gooners, and that was that.

For Thierry Henry knows that we are not there yet, and while we have every chance of making it to the climax in Paris, there are a few potential banana skins along the way.

It's going to be hard, Villa Real are no push over's, they will make it very difficult for us, and Thierry Henry knows this, which is why he celebrations were muted.

The fact that Arsenal have reached the semi finals of this competition, not only for the first time under Wenger, but the first time in it's history is a reason to drink, cheer and be merry. But not for Henry. He is a winner, it's all or nothing for him. Thats what makes him the worlds best.

Thierry is a realist however, and as such knows it's a great story, but an unfinished one, and a story he wants to have a happy ending.

'You never know what can happen. It is true there is a story, people can already see that,' said Titi.

'But we are not there yet, and surely have not won it yet. You have to take it step by step.

'I do understand the final is in Paris - but I am not the only one, you have Abou Diaby and [Alexandre] Song from there too.

'It is not that big a story, but obviously you cannot not mention it when you talk about me.

'You can say also that Milan want to make it because of what happened last season to them, you can also say the same of Ronaldinho because he used to play for Paris Saint-Germain.

'At the moment, it is only a story and people are talking about it.

'But let's make sure we can reach the final, and before we can do that, we have to play Villarreal.

'They will not be an easy team to play.'

Henry added: 'For everyone at this club, reaching the semi-final for the first time is something pretty good.

'Everyone is happy about it, and you can understand that. But we need to extend it, and see where we can go.

'I would like to go all the way and win the thing. We all need to make it happen.'

Come on you Gunners!!!

millers4eva
looks like it will all rest on you either winning the champs league or how the result between you and spurs goes
vertigo_red
Isn't this a bit of a Gerrard situation? If Arsenal win the Champs League, he will stay, if not, he'll go? I suppose we'll have to wait until the summer...
NeilBaker
talking of gerrard in comparison to henry, yet another similarity. Arsenal's form in the league is appalling and United (believe me Im not a fan) rolled you over in that second half ands it is looking more and more likely Spurs will get fourth spot. You don't win the Champs league you can kiss Europe goodbye for next season

yep...hahaha 2-0 2-0 rooney pride of englisg football destroyed a team of foriegn cu.nts.....thats what you get for having a no english policy
