Sol Campbell Suffers Broken Nose

Sol Campbell returned for Arsenal yesterday with an impressive performance that was ruined by an horrific injury.

Sol had already sufferd a cut to his head before having his nose smashed.

As yet there is no news on how long he will be out, however, the pictures suggest he may be out for quite a while as his nose looks to be shattered.

Edit: This just in from Arsenal.com

“Sol’s nose is broken,” confirmed Arsène Wenger in an exclusive video interview with Arsenal TV Online on Thursday afternoon. “He sees a specialist today [Thursday]. He has no breathing problems but the surgeon has to decide whether he has surgery now or whether we should wait until the end of the season.

“If he needs surgery now it is at least a week out. It is three weeks without any risk but I feel he could play after one week.”

I've got to say, he looked good for the time he was on the pitch and considering how long he's been out. Complete accident though the broken nose.
