Reyes In Torres Hint

Reyes In Torres Hint

Jose Antonio Reyes has hinted that Athletico Madrid star, Fernando Torres could link up with Arsenal in the summer, according to the red tops.

Reyes said,

'Torres is already one of the best strikers in the world and when Arsene Wenger asked me about him I said he would be a great player for Arsenal,'

'He is very important for Atletico and Spain and would have no problems adapting to England.

'I would be delighted if he joins Arsenal.'

However I'm pretty sure the quotes from Reyes have been dredged up from well over a year ago, and this is nothing more than sensationalism from the so called 'newspapers'.

I wouldn't hold your breath!

Bergkamp retires at the end of the season and Reyes has now been converted to a winger, and with the possibility of Henry leaving another striker could certainly be the order of the day!

i think you need a midfielder more than a striker pires and lunberg are getting on a bit now. And lets be honest the midfield aint been the same since you know who left.
