Senderos Set To Miss 2nd Leg

Speaking after yesterdays match, Arsene Wenger confirmed Phileppe Senderos is likely to miss the Champions League semi final second leg.

Swiss Tony landed akwardly on his knee and had to be substituted and now is set to miss the most important games of his career to date.

Wenger said,

'I don’t know, he has a knee problem. I think he will be out for Tuesday.'

Toure who was set for a rest will now have to feature possibly alongside Sol Campbell.

Toure is one yellow card away from a susspension.

That is so not good for us he`s one of our key cb`s.

He had a wobbly start to the season but has come on leaps and bounds over the past few months, it's a massive blow as Kolo is one booking away from missing the final should we get there, and the way the Villarreal player threw themselves about it will be pretty easy for him to get booked!

I thionk djorou will fill in for him.

I don't want toure to play from start as if he gets booked its a disaster, I say we star with him on the bench, but who could replace him?
gunner-minesh
Campbell and Djourou probably, but neither have got as much pace as Toure. and against Forlan who is quite quick we will have to rely on Campbell and Djourou's posistioning skill rather than having toure as a covering defender

Need to play Toure, didn't everyone see on Saturday what happens when you rest strength on the bench? By the way, what ever happened to Theo Walcott?
Westl
You'll find out about Theo next season West1;)
Rocky7
Can't he play this season?, in the last game again wigan perhaps?
gunner-minesh
I think we'll see him against Sunderland and depending on the points status, possibly Wigan too!
Rocky7
Good, after all of the hype I think all of us are anxious to see just what the kid can do!
