'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Reasons To Be Cheerful

With our turbulent Premiership season coming to an end, the likelyhood of our 'friendly neighbours' finishing above us is very real, but it's not all that bad, it could be worse, you could actually support the self proclaimed 'big club'.

If Tottenham do finish above us and we do fail to win the Champion's League, the next 12 months will be full of taunts from those down the road, and they will claim they are now the bigger club.

Well, if you're still feeling depressed over this weekend's result, kop a read of this, and when all those Spurs fans try and give you grief, just point them in this direction.

This article will be swamped with the Tiny Totts, shouting and swearing and hurling insults, but once again just point them to the facts. They can not be argued with.

Enjoy.

Reasons to be cheerful:-

We have won the top flight league title 13 times compared to Spurs pathetic 2

We have won the FA Cup two more times than Spurs.

We have gone a full season unbeaten, Spurs haven't.

We hold the record for going a massive 49 games unbeaten. The only record Spurs have is Diamond Lights by Waddle and Hoddle.

We Have won the league title at White Hart Lane. Spurs will never win the title at Highbury.

We have won the league title at White Hart Lane more times than Spurs.

We have done 3 'Doubles' where Spurs have only done one.

Arsenal hold the record for consecutive clean sheets in the Champion's League. Spurs have never played in the Champion's League.

Arsenal hold the record for the quickest goal ever scored in the Champion's League. Spurs have never played in the Champion's League.

Arsenal are in this season's Champion's League semi final with a very real chance of getting to the final. Spurs have never played in the Champion's League.

We have a brand new stadium to look forward to for next season. Spurs will still be playing in their dump.

Since the last time Spurs won a major honour (the League cup does not count) Arsenal have won 10, yes that's 10, trophies.

Spurs actually have their 'PEACE CUP (KOREA) WINNERS 2005' on their list of honours.

FC Thun have more Champion's League experience than Spurs.

We got Dennis Bergkamp.

I hope that makes you feel a little better.

Henry tells everyone how many times Arsenal have won the title at White Hart Lane

Who has held the F.A. cup the longest though ??? (winky thing)
FEn_100
That does actually make me feel better, especially showing it like that with the pictures, you might need to point that out again if it does go wrong and we lose 4th and CL when we are depressed, or if it goes right and we are celebrating we can point that instead at spurs.
gunner-minesh
Just because Portsmouth won the FA Cup just before the war and were the last team to win before it was susspended isn't something to add to your list of honours, FEn_100 ;)
Rocky7
you losers....just admit how bad boring and useless, your team would be if he actually leaves, we saw against spurs that arsenal played like west brom until he came on.
dew333
.......and all your records are a joke like spurs dont have any. 1.fastest league goal in premiership history. 2. Best Goal ever scored in FA cup semi Final -against scum 3.best goal scored in FA cup final 4.most players in england team at once (on the pitch) in the last 4 years 5. you will never win the title in the next 10 years as all you resources have gone on the binladen bowl, whilst chelsea and man u have made the biggest gap ever
dew333
this is called living in hte past not one spurs fan can or have (that i know) argued that spurs have been better than arsenal....we are looking to the future if like you state we finish 4th and u dont win champ league then that certainly shows a major turning point in a power shift in north london...there still would be a lot of work to do on our part to continue this over the next few years..but instead of writing articles like this with ur head burried in the sand rmembering the undeniable good times u shud be more worried about how arsenal are going to react if ur worst case scenario 4u does happen
buckers_07
What absolute twaddle, to say there is a powershift is premature to say the least, Spurs had a fantastic season, and its great that they offer us more competition, dont get ahead of yourselves here. Afterall since grimsby knocked Spurs out of the cup early on, they've only had the league to concentrate, is it suprising that with a squad as big as that and as few games to play, they've done well? I think not....
jim_the_gooner
Yea thatsb true we are better than them any time any place anywhere.Welld one to who wrote this.

I was only jesting rocky. lol. I could have pointed to Pompey's european experiences, but i don't think you'd be interested in the Anglo - italian cup would you? lol :-)
FEn_100

Rocky7
lol a blast from the past
POKERMILLERSWINTON
a slight advantage to the arse there i think, still spurs may catvh up at some point?
vertigo_red
just shows how worried arsenal actually are about spurs getting into the champions league next year and them getting bugger all, writing articles like this, stop living in the past and remembering your glory days - or spurs will end up snatching that champions league place from under your nose hahaha
thompo1604
i wasnt suggesting a powershift i was merely going along with the suggestion that the writer was stating "If Tottenham do finish above us and we do fail to win the Champion's League" so my response was to that scenario...and has no bearing on the arguement of whether there will or will not be a powershift..please respond to the article actually written COYS
