'If It's Football, It's Vital'

It's Barcelona In The Final

As Barcelona & AC Milan drew 0-0 last night, Arsenal were handed yet another European giant to play in their quest for Champions League glory.

Barca progressed to the final with a 1-0 aggregate win over AC as the second leg ended in stalemate. Eto'o & Kaka went very close in the first half and Shevchencko had a perfectly good goal ruled for a foul on Puyol, when replays clearly show there was no contact and the player had actually slipped. The reffering decision was about as good as the one to award Villarreal a penalty against the Gunners the previous night.

The final will now be contested between Arsenal & Barcelona on Wednesday May 17th, and will host some of the worlds best players who play the slickest football in Europe.

It will certainly be a lip smacking nerve wracking night.

Bring it on!

Looks like I'll be eating Paella and wrapping myself in a Spanish Flag until the 17th. Surely you can't beat Barca?
BigYid
Anything is possible BY, I thought the same about AC Milan and Liverpool. However, it is our biggest test in the Champions League to date.
Rocky7
You know it will break my heart if you guys win. The Gooners in my local will be unbearable, let alone you guys on here. I will probably have to move to Siberia to get away.
BigYid
I have family in Siberia, you can run but you can not hide. Will it be as heart breaking for you if we finish 4th??
Rocky7
Barcelona will tough, but it aint too bad, we just have to use our pace against them.
gunner-minesh
No, because then you will have won fair and square by League position. 38 games doesn't lie. If you win the CL and we come 4th it's a double whammy. 1) You've won the CL and will never shut up. 2) To rub it in you'll nick our long awaiting chance at Europe's premier competition. It hurts just to type it.
BigYid
It will be a massive game between two great teams.Bracelona might be better but arsenal will push on forward and also defend from ronaldhino and eto`o.We would definelty need some inspiration from thierry henry and fabregas.
kenyanrudeboy
COME ON ARSENAL.
kenyanrudeboy
The bookies have Barca.
weststandvoice
they still have to beat a team who are the best team in europe...i dont see arsenal winning ..even if we know they will i would still love to finish 4th even if they take our spot...regardless of champ league spot we would have finsihed above arsenal for first time in 10 years even if that doesnt bring champ league and it will be a bitter pill to swallow this has to be a positive we are in this position cos we have surpassed every1s expectations..onwards and upwards to become one of prem elite teams again regardless of what happens in paris COYS
buckers_07
Become one of the prem elite teams again???? When were you one before?? Delusions of grandeur there mate.
Rocky7
The Gunners have confounded many touted teams along the way to reach thus far so I am sure the last game will go down to the wires.
SWPACIFIC
And the Gunners will triumph over Barcelona with 2-1
