Theo Walcott Injured

Arsenal starlet, Theo Walcott, suffered a slight tweak of his knee ligaments in the 3-1 victory over West Ham reserves last night.

Walcott was replaced after 15 minutes having suffered the injury, but reserves manager, Neil Banfield, moved to assure that the injury was only minor and would only require a few days rest.

'I think he’s tweaked a ligament just down the side of the knee. I think it's just a few days' rest and recuperation.'

The injury comes as a big blow to Arsenal fans who were hoping Walcott would make his first team debut on Bank Holiday Monday away to Sunderland.

QPR fan, I'd love it if you could finish 5th and win the champions league putting Spurs out of it haha that would be brilliant. Good luck against Barca, have a feeling you will need it. But what a mouthwatering clash it is, hopefully it will be pretty open- Ronaldinho Vs Henry what a game!
markohaire
Lets just hope thats the last time Henry is seen on the same pitch as Ronaldinho for a very long while!!

well, until next years final anyhow ;)

Thats unlucky, I was hoping he would play in at tommorows match, hopefully he will be better for wigan at home.
gunner-minesh
how do you all think you will do against barca? i think you should loan walcott out to forest
jono_forest
I think Walcott will get more a chance next season after Pires leaves. I think the final is a 50-50 game - anything can happen over 90 minutes. Let's hope Arsenal win though!

Can you really see walcott getting a chance next season, he's still a nipper. Still, they say if your good enough, your old enough eh? Ive a feeling he be used as a sub a lot.

Walcott will have his chance when AW feels he is suitable. I am begining to have second thoughts in questioning AW's tactics. He knows what's best for the players and the club.
SWPACIFIC
Opps! that was meant to be" when it [time] is suitable.
