Wenger Overjoyed At Final

Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is overjoyed at Arsenal's progression in Europe and our first ever final.

Arsenal knocked out Villarreal to reach their first final, and now Wenger believes there's no reason why we can't go on and win it.

'There has been a big doubt about Arsenal in Europe for years, even when we were dominating the championship,' said the French tactician.

'That's why I am very happy to get to the final when nobody expected us to and with a side who had no chance at the start.

'We have knocked Real Madrid, Juventus and Villarreal out and we have every right to believe we can win the final.

'Domestically we have done very well but at European level we have just been a fraction out.

'Overall, I always feel it is difficult to win everything every year.

'We have been in the FA Cup every year; we have done well in the championship in the last 10 years - and now we have a good opportunity to show we have got it in Europe.'

Warranted! Joy on merit! A feat worth celebrating and enjoying. Who in his right frame of mind wouldn't. With you AW.

It is wonderful that we have made it to the final despite all the difficulties that we have experienced this season. Great achievement and breaking the clean sheet record along the way. However, the boys need to play a lot better than the Villareal game against Barca on 17th. Lehman's penalty save will definitely be the save of the season for me.

this is exactly what wenger has been working towards, this is his dream, hope we can do it for him, he definetly deserves it

It's taken a few years to get the squad that can play at both premier and euro levels. He's a very shrewd manager. I'm sure you will do well in the final. I hope you win it. Good luck.
