Lauren Speculation Is Just That

Speculation has been rife that Lauren will return to the club of his youth when the season ends and he makes a full recovery.

However, Sevilla sporting director, Ramon ‘Monchi’ Rodriguez, has rubbished the claims.

'The club does not respond to speculation about news in the papers,' said Rodriguez. 'Possible negotiations for next year are on stand-by until the end of the season.

'In light of our success in European competition we have several options.'

Arsenal will have an embarassment of riches at right back next season with Lauren, Eboue and Englishman Kerrea Gilbert.

Lauren is one of our best full backs.Theres no reason i dont see why other teams should take him.But this is not the time

This is the time for it. The rumor mill is said to be at its peak sometimes spilling over with sad endings, others to dreamland. So anything and every option seems to catch anyone's itchy ears these days.

I think your best option is to keep him for another year and let the young englishman learn from him. If you have a good season then you'll still get a good price for Lauren and have a ready made replacement. Ha, easy this isn't it. I could do Wengers job with my eyes closed, lol. ROFL.

Lauren is still much needed as Gilbert is still young.
HK_Gunner
Agree HK, but under the tutelage of Lauren for a year and the managership of A.W. I'm sure he'l bloom into a great player.
