West Ham v Spurs Postponed??

Breaking news is that the game at Upton Park could be postponed after the Tottenham team has apparently come down with food posioning.

FA officials are on the way to Spurs hotel as we speak to assess the situation.

Should the game be postponed, that lot from up the road would have an advantage over Arsenal having known the outcome of our match and they would then know exactley what they have to do.

They would also have the bonus of extra time for thier injured players to get fit.

Although, should the game be called off, we would be able to enjoy our final game at Highbury safe in the knowledge that nothing will be decided today.

They should have left them play it would give us a huge boost. But i never thought i would say this but unlucky spurs.

Suggesting that Spurs are faking it is almost as bad as suggesting that an Arsenal fan has tampered with their food...

It's obviously a tongue in cheek coment NB!!! However rules state that the game must go ahead if they have 7 fit players, and a team who has countless midefilders should be able to rustle up a squad. They now know what we've been going through all season!!
Rocky7
they should just play there reserves then give you more of a chance.
jono_forest
The game will go ahead!!

What a load of B... S..., but to be fair they are only children when it comes to real football. They have no chance of being in the C.L. But they can cheer on a real team like the GUNNERS

The Gunners farewelled Higbury in real STYLE. Horay!!! and bye to Highbury. Ashburton Grove will see the feast of CL games next season. Surely with TH there of course.

It doesn't matter any more. We finished 4th, they finished 5th. We're in the Champions League, they're in the UEFA cup. I couldn't be more happy!

it all sounds a bit suspicious to me! they all come down with food poisoning at the crucial time!
vertigo_red
VR, they're a team, one would expect them to dine together the night before a game, it only takes one bad portion of food to make the whole team ill..............oh no........I've said too much!
Rocky7
Aparently it was some seafood pasta. It'll be a while before they eat that again wont it? NOt a very nice thing to have though, beieve me.

FEn, as someone who has suffered food poisoning, do you think it would be possible to recover enough in less than 12 hours to play a football match?
