Ladies: Birmingham City 0-7 Arsenal

Arsenal Ladies produced their biggest league win of the season by beating bottom of the league club Birmingham City by 7 goal's to 1 on Sunday.

Lianne Sanderson the England Under 19 international scored a hat trick to take her tally to nine goals for the season.

Vic Akers' Women's side were already 6 goal's up at half time, courtesy of a Sanderson brace, Ciara Grant, Jayne Ludlow, Kelly Smith and an own goal by Birmingham City.

Understandably, Arsenal took their foot off the pedal in the second period and scored just once more - a third of the afternoon for Sanderson as she completed her hat-trick after 56 minutes.

The reigning champions remain in fourth spot, six points adrift of leaders Charlton Athletic but with two games in hand.

Arsenal’s next fixture is away to Sunderland on Sunday, November 20.
