'Barca' Linesman Replaced

The linesman who was pictured in a local paper wearing a Barcelona shirt has been replaced for the UEFA Champions League Final.

The linesman, I forget his name, wore a Barca shirt in a local rag and says he was supossed to wear a Gunners shirt too, but with so much riding on this game, UEFA have decided to avoid all controversy ahead of time and elected to bring in another official.

I guess the decision is for the best, but could have worked in our favour if the said linesman had indeed made a genuine mistake, he wouldn't want his integrity called into question and would have thought twice about awarding any 50:50 decisions in Barca's favour.

Anyway, all is well with the world, and this time tomorrow, we'll be halfway through our first ever Champions League final.

COME ON YOU GUNNERS.

I feel for the guy. Against Wigan we had a Tottenham fan on the line. It took his better half a week to get the skidmarks off his undies!

It all sounds pretty innocent if you ask me. I think its been blown out of proportion. Having said that, better he's replaced now than have questions of impartiality after the game.
pitythefool
What did you say huscarl. You are supporting barcelona.
kenyanrudeboy
they are covering their backs incase the linesman makes a dodgy desicion in Barca's favour which wins the game!
itsup4grabsnow
The referee took on the suspended Lineman's role in a significant way.
SWPACIFIC
let the moaning begins: "Lehman is a victim of poor refereeing decision.""Oh, linesman didnt flag Eto's goal offside.""Puyol and Rafa should be sent off long time ago for molesting King Henry.""Why did referee choose Barcelona to wear home shirt while Arsenal forced to wear away yellow? Dont they know red is our lucky color?""Barcelona practiced for a rainy game as they checked the Paris weather channel, Wenger didnt know about the weather.""The final should have been played in Highbury as we are shutting it down soon." Lets see who's most creative.... hahahahahahaha... CL winner? you having a larfffff
