Cesc Named Young Player Of The Year

Cesc Fabregas has claimed the 'Vital Arsenal Young Player Of The Season' award.

Fabregas won by a landslide with almost 90% of the votes.

Cesc had the unenviable task of trying to fill the void left by Patrick Vieira, but he didn't fill it......he made it his own. At only 19 years of age, Fabregas has an old head on his shoulders and his touch and passing are sublime.

His best moment this season (like most at Arsenal) came in the Champions League. His performance at the Bernabeau was out of this world. On a pitch that housed some of the very best players in the world, and in his native Spain, Fabregas stood head and shoulders above the rest.

The goal he scored against Juventus at home was just the crowning glory in a momentus season for the youngman after he became the most exciting and sought after young prospect in the game, infact, he is no longer just a prospect, he is indeed world class.

Well deserved.

I think it's because we have never really had the finicial clout of Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool or even Spurs, so Wenger's scouting network has had to be the best in the world. Just think of the possibilites when the finanicial reward from Ashburton Grove appears. Scarey huh?

There's no reason he won't go on to be one of the best midfielders in the world.........now lets just buy him a nice new pair of shooting boots :)

It crazy to think he's been so good this season, yet he isn't going to peak for another 8-9 years. Wonderful.

Well deserved. Going into next season, expectation from CESC will be even higher as he has just raised the bar even higher.

He's been amazing this season, especially with all the pressure of filling PV's boots. He outclassed PV against Juve, and looks amzing, and will eventually be the best mid in the world, if not best player! :)
