'If It's Football, It's Vital'

From Bad To Worse For Ol' Paddy

What a 12 months for poor old Paddy. It starts with (he'll have you believe) him being practically pushed through the doors of the marble halls, then he claims he has gone to Juventus because he believes he has more chance of winning the Champions League with them and is then duely dumped out of the competition by his old club, his new club are susspected of match irregularities and face relegation, and now, to top it all off, his home has been raided by a gang of thieves.

Poor Patrick.

The attack was conducted after toxic gases were pumped into Vieira's home via an air conditioning system which left him, his wife and daughter unconcious while they made off with jewellery and his 4x4 Mercedes.

Thankfully no-one was hurt in the attack, and it was announced earlier this evening that five people have been detained on susspicion of robbery.

Where did it all go wrong for the man who was (and still is) worshipped by the Highbury faithfull.

Vital Arsenal would like to wish Patrick and his family all the best.

That's what you get for leaving the Arsenal!!

Yeh I read that in the forums too, I feel bad for him, being chucked outta Arsenal when I believe he wanted to stay, then losing to us, all those match fixing claims and now this. I wish Viera all the best and hope he has a bright and happier future next season. Hopefully this doesn't happen again and if Juve are relegated if found guilty i'd always welcome Viera back to Arsenal.

Wouldn't wish that on anyone. Well maybe a few people, but not Paddy anyway.

Frightening the length people will go now to steal. They could've killed someone.

Leaving Arsenal, losing to Arsenal in the CL, and now this, we all love you Paddy but you made a huge mistake. At least he won the Serie A.
