Tottenham Now Have No Excuses

Tottenham Now Have No Excuses

Tottenham can now stop whinging that David Dein's position with the FA is a conflict of interest, Double D was replaced as board member after failing to be re-ellected.

Despite artilces from lazy hacks claiming Dein has been axed due to his involement with Beveren, Manchester United's David Gill has been voted in by the 20 Premier League clubs.

Dein has been underfire for quite sometime because, apparently, his role at the FA was a conflict of interests, even though the position was created for someone in the game with exact credentials as Dein, and now Gill.

It actually comes as quite a relief as I've been getting sick of explaining the situation to people who were more than happy to slag Dein off without actually knowing anything about his role on the board. They will no have no excuses when we hammer them next year (and you can quote me on that)

Let's just see if Spurs have something to say about the appointment of Gill, as he is Chairman at another Premiership club......I doubt it.

its been handled digustingly. Dein constantly swiped when he has been replaced by basically the same person. Also the day after the ridiculous beveren case blaming dein for doing nothing illegal and on the day that cheski finally sign the 19 yr old who was hiding in the woods with death threats to his name because he had signed 4 Man U. Then he miraculously signs for chelsea and chelsea clean it all up by givin £5m to Man U. A little shady, no, completely normal.

The premiership clubs and fans voted Dein off for no reason and brought in the stupid United guy with the exact same credentials. Not really fair is it?

I don't really care - I'd rather the Spurs fans have one less excuse for being crap. It's a shame for Dein and the FA - he's clearly done a good job and is a lot more competent that the other idiots at the FA, but hey, it's their loss!!

It now leaves Dein's concentration 100% on Arsenal. Their loss, our gain.

It's great isn't it a Glazer mouth piece voted on the FA Board so he'll have the interests of the game at heart. Feel a bit sorry for Dein he and Arsenal appear to have been slandered by all sides without any evidence of wrong doing or rule breakings. Most of Dein's supposed fiddling were premier league matters nothing to do with the FA. It doesn't stop journos trumping out the same unfounded rubbish at any opportunity.
