'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Goal: Robin van Persie

As the domestic season takes a back seat and the stories have dried up, I'm going to try and bring you every goal from the World Cup scored by and Arsenal player.

We have already seen Tomas Rosicky stunning brace for the Czech's, and yesterday saw Robin van Persie smash home a free kick for the Dutch in a 2-1 win over Kolo Toure's Ivory Coast.

Here it is in all it's powerful glory.

Great Free Kick, Keeper had no chance, i really think you should play him more often!

You have to wonder a bit about Henry, though. His goal v Korea was a bit of fluke since Wiltord wasn't trying to pass, but had hs shot deflect right onto TH's boot. He put it away nicely, but what a horror show missing that sitter in the second half that cost them a win.

Nice goal, Van should be given more free kicks, I don't think henry goal was a fluke he got it nicley, though france should have won the game early.

Very Nice goal. Looks like we could be playing them in the quarters if we get there. Would be a very good game. Do you think we would win it?

Van Persie is good at free-kicks it seems. He gets great pace on them, like against Wigan as well, and normally he is very accurate. He's looking a more likely first team player than Adebayor I have to say.
Super Cesc
He's that good that you can only recall a similar free kick against wigan eh?
