'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Goal: Thierry Henry

As promised, we will bring you footage of every Arsenal player's goal's in the world cup finals.

Yesterday was the turn of Arsenal's captain, Thierry Henry to find the onion bag. France ended up in a shock 1-1 draw with South Korea.

Henry put France in front with an early strike, neatly tucked away a perfectly timed run, only to see his strike cancelled out late on by Man Utd's Park Ji-Sung.

Not one of his greatest by any means but they all count.

First time seen him score with left
kenyanrudeboy
Is that the first time you've seen him play?!?!?!?!?! Two of his most famous goals were scored with his left.
Rocky7
thats what i thought too. Now something that did surprise me is that Henry has never scored a goal that has been laid off by Zidane. How many international campaigns have they been on together. You would think them two would be the perfect set up.
POMPEYMEV
Yeah, yeah, yeah. What you figure your Yawn-ree's thinking 'bout today? That Wilturd was a proper barstid for not even considering to pass to him, but tried to blast one in on his own? Or that he's single-handedly responsible for France's current worries by missing a sitter that has become a trademark finish for him over the years? He choked in Paris and he's choking in Germany. He's got his shorts full of big brown bricks these days.
greatwhitenorf
So their woeful defending had nothing to do with it? He is the only player on the pitch who is able to score? He missed one he scored one, his job effectively done. France played Korea off the park and one lapse left them looking silly. But then again we expected some silly litte Spud on here giving it the big un when Henry missies a shot. Henry doesn't choke, contary to crappy Spurs belief's Henry more often than not scores in the big games, I seem to recall an extremely well taken goal at Highbury this year that left Totteringham with egg on their faces after claiming for months you would be in the Champion's League. Your just jealous plain and simple, and if you come back with some rubbish comment about Robbie Keane or Berbatov we'll all know you are the idiot we perceive you to be.
Rocky7
I think 'scoring for fun' is taking your journalistic licence a bit far isn't it Paul? lol. A well taken goal though, and all down to that delicate first touch.
FEn_100
cracking goals there. do u think u have a chance of signing torres still or will he go to man u?

Switzerland and South Korea draw and Terry H will need to knock in a couple or its back to Highbury two weeks early, tail between his legs with a job well done.
TeddyLyon
I hope we do get torres, on Henry that was a well deserved goal. they did need to score since 1998 and they finnaly have, I hope france go through to show everyone how Henry does peform on the big stage and as to that spurs guy who is jelous, tell me one player in your team who has skill and 1st touch like henry?.
gunner-minesh
God glad Sol Campbell came on last night (not) what a crock of ***** ! I bet your overjoyed that other clubs are interesting in him, that why David Dein got him england squad to raise his profile ! Thanks David, and thanks for Wallcott he's done wonders !
Boony
Gunner-Minesh, we're not talking about comparing players you fool, we're talking about Henrys lack of performance in big competitions - Overall the Arsenal players have done very well in this world cup but Henry hasnt shined at all yet !
Boony
How dare you called someone a fool for going a little off topic when your first post does not mention Thierry Henry at all.
Rocky7
Zidane should be dropped. He looks off the pace and France played better without him against Togo.
