Dennis Bergkamp Testamonial

Dennis Bergkamp Testamonial

Arsenal Football Club has finaliased all of the details of the great Dennis Bergkamp's testamonial.

The club has to complete a series of 'ramp up' events in order for Ashburton Grove to be officially declared safe, and this will be the last of the assigned three, and as such, this will be the event with the largest crowd leading upto the sell out first game at our new home.

Bergkamp ended his [playing] love affair with the club in it's last ever season at the famous Highbury stadium.

He finished his career an Arsenal legend and will have 54,000 Gooner attending to say goodbye to this awesome player.

Full details of dates, times and ticket prices can be found here.

I'm still a red member so I doubt I can go, however I am going to the Members day so i'll enjoy that and then watch the DVD of the testimonial when it arrives. The match should be well good but it will still be sad and especially at the end as we say goodbye to the great legend.
