Rooney Gets Swift Revenge On Ronaldo

Those splendid fellows at IhateRonaldo.com have provided photographic evidence of Wayne Rooney's swift revenge on serial cheater, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo did everything in his power to make sure Rooney saw red in England's world cup quarter final yesterday, even winking at Portugal's bench after Rooney had been dismissed.

Well here is the picture of Rooney getting his own back :)

Wayne Rooney deserved to get sent off for a disgraceful stamp on a player. Ronaldo didn't want him to get away with it.

" wrong-so very wrong, ronaldo was a joke getting a professional player sent off"
millers4eva
Kevin - Rooney wasn't sent off for the stamp (which I don't believe he did on purpose) if you look at the footage, the ref was happy and was simply giving a freekick, it wasn't till Rooner "pushed" Ronaldo that the ref took action. btw, this article was just supposed to be a bit of light hearted fun.
Rocky7
you have to wonder whether ronaldo fabricated this just so that UTD have to get rid of him, as he has his heart set on going rto Real, and UTD dont want to sell him, well what better way of making it a certainty
samg60
to settle it, rooney did deserve to get sent off but then again and ronaldo is the biggest joke ever!!
wallis
" no wallis you are the biggest joker"
millers4eva
Ronaldo is the biggest cheating diving w*nker in the premiership.
FEn_100
Rooney fully deserved it. He's a thug but Ronaldo tried to get him off which is also unnaceptable.
simon
Of course, if the referee was of any quality he wouldn't let players influence his decision.
NeilBaker
they are both to blame. when will rooney learn! you cant do that kind of thing no more! we learnt that with becks in 98. doesnt hide the fact we just werent good enough though. this whole ronaldo thing sounds as if we're looking for a scapegoat again! i dont like the geeza, but we need to face facts, we weren't good enough...
elmo85
Good shout Neil, the ref should have nipped it in the bud when it first started, that way Ronaldo and co would know they couldnt get away with it. He knew it was going to be like that from their last game. The diving and mock card waving were just symptomatic of weak reffing in my opinion.
jim_the_gooner
It was NEVER a sending off, he wasnt even looking where he stood. The push was a push away for Ronaldo trying t oinfluence the ref. Handbags at most ! Wallis - shut up mate
Boony
Debatable, but I do agree with Elmo, were were poor, and not just in this game, Yes, its shocking what Portugal/Italy/Argentina etc get away with, but to perform well at the worldcup we have to expect it, and deal with it without losing it, Ronaldo is a cheating twit though!
jim_the_gooner
Ronaldo is going to be public enemy No. 1 next season. Lets all unite and let the **** have it.
BigYid
So what, at the end of the day, Rooney shouldnt have behaved the way he did. It was his own fault for getting sent off. Ronaldo was correct to suggest a foul to the ref and it was Rooneys shove that got him the red card. Ronaldo will still be welcome to england as far as im concerned and everyone should stop giving him a hard time.
alana
alana, what you've written is a joke, the ref had already blown for a foul and Ronaldo then came over and whinged (as he commonly does) until he'd annoyed Rooney so much that Rooney pushed him and saw red. Ronaldo is the model of 99% of what is wrong in todays game, an unsporting diving whinging ****
Trig the yid
the constant crying was anoying enough but setting up your team mate like that is just wrong ronaldo belongs in drama school not on a soccer pitch
mish
Thats why he's at Man U, theatre of dreams!
Trig the yid
theatre of ****s more like!
elmo85
personally my abiding memory of Ronaldo and funniest! was Jens Lehman pushing him over on the goal line, relatively out the blue and the ref not seeing it a couple of seasons back!, crying little t0sser !!
jim_the_gooner
This is Ronaldo trying to make it up to Rooney..... http://img78.imageshack.us/img78/3812/cristianoronaldo018sz.jpg

I thoght rooney would had saw yellow for stamping then when ref saw him push cristiano he gave him a red
kenyanrudeboy
come on here - a yellow would have been sufficient.
herringthorpe
Ronaldo and Ruud to stay at Man Utd, Ruud can team up with Rooney on the training field a what a formidable strike force they will be. Wont have to wait for Ronaldo to cross the ball.
GreenGiant13
Rooney was stupid to stamp on Carvalho right in front of the referee, but the last person you expect to try and get you sent off is your team-mate. Makes you wonder whether RvN was the one in the wrong when he fell out with Ronaldo (and Ferguson).
