Buffon To Quit Juventus

Buffon To Quit Juventus

Juventus old boy, Pavel Neved has revealed that apparent Arsenal target Gianluigi Buffon will leave Juventus in the coming weeks.

At the end of last month, Buffon's agent claimed that Arsenal had entered negotiation with regards to the players availability, saying,

'The negotiation exists, but it isn't easy.'

'London is a pleasing option, but Gigi would like to stay in Italy.'

'Despite this, Arsenal remains a welcome solution.'

Now his team mates has revealed his intentions to leave, buts says he doesn't know where to.

'I have discussed it with Buffon. He told me he was leaving and that we would probably not play in the same team,' Nedved said.'

'I don't know where he is going, you'll have to ask him.'

Well we came closer than you have EVER been to winning the CL and we've certainly got more experience in winning the league, so I don't see why we dont have a chance.

Why couldn't we win the Cl or Premiership, I think we have a fantastic chance at both, especially if Buffon joined.

do you think you'll get him, he's a great keeper and would out show lehmann any time (if that's how you spell it)

I would welcome him to the club, but it would be harsh on Lehmann who has had his best season ever.... Buffon has many more years on his side though.

If Arsenal are indeed in for Buffon & Buffon is intent on leaving then I could certainly see us getting him. All the major clubs in Europe already have 'their' keepers. We have Lehmann but time is not on his side.
