Yaya Toure Wants Arsenal Move

According to today's edition of the News Of The World, Yaya Toure has expressed the desire to play at Ashburton Grove next season.

The Sunday rag, which is notorious for talking out of their arse's, have quote the Elephant's star as saying he want to 'play in the same side' as his brother.

Toure Jnr said, ' I do not want to play for olympiakos any more. The people responsible are those who do not treat me like a professional. I want to play in the same side as my brother'.

While I take anything the News Of The Screws prints with a pinch of salt, there appears to be a lot more substance to this than your every day transfer rumour. Couple this with the fact that all Greek teams have been banned from all international football, then we're on to a winner.

looked very good in the world cup

would be a excellent signing, coz he is both footed, skillful and big. lol. But i think mr. wenger will attempt to sign mascherano first. He could be our makelele just sits in front of the back four where yaya likes to get forward and we have that in diaby. But nevertheless lets wait and see, whoever we sign will improve the team greatly...

Another midfielder we already have enough

they are both very good players mascherano and yaya toure... i feel though for the future as both are good players that if we got yaya toure unlike mascherano it could help keep toure for longer than we would have thought because they would like to stay together so they can resist any bids from big clubs when toure has the best season

Think we should sign appiah insead, if yaya comes what will diaby do ??
hazzagooner
soma i think he is a good player (both) but we should be patient just incase buffon whants more money and we need him for at least the next ten years

I think the fact that his brother kolo is gonna be a huge factor in the race to get his sinature, but i have to agree what is going to happen to the likes of diaby? who is a very promicing player that needs his chance to shine, and i dont think that he would get the chance to do that if we sign YaYa, but then again if we do who to say that Yaya wont become a massive player for us. At the moment i am sort of on the fecnce about this one as i can see reasons to buyhim and reasons not to, but then its not down to me.

Where does all of this leave Diaby?

y. toure, decent little player. buffon aint going to arsenal! do u rele think you could afford a goalkeeper just after he just won the world cup! NO! he wont be going on the cheap, so dont kid yourself into thinking that! wuld wenger spend £15-£20m on a keeper? no again! of course he wouldnt! he hasnt even spent that on an outfield player!

Yaya is an incredibly elegant midfield player, similar in style to Vieira he would make a fine addition to any midfield. However we already have DIABY!!!!!!

It would be a great sign.

I think Wenger would sign Buffon for about £12million - he's always had problems signing good keepers (Wright, Manninger, Almunia, Warz, Shabaan), so I think he would be prepared to shell out for a quality keeper who could play 8 more years in the top flight. As for Yaya, I would love to see him come, but I don't want to see us held to ransom on the back of a decent world cup performance.
