Injury Problems Before We Even Start

Arsene Wenger has revealed that Arsenal are already in crisis before a ball has even been kicked in anger.

With Lauren, Djourou & Clichy injured and Campbell now departed (relaesed, not dead you realise) the news that Phileppe Senderos will be out for 3 months has left Wenger rocking with defensive worries. The possibility that Ashley Cole will leave being more than likely means we are already as troubled as we were last season.

Le Boss gave the grim news.

'We have lost Senderos for the next three months and Johan Djourou and Gael Clichy have had injuries,' he said.

'If we find a player who can play centre back, left back then we are still open.'

It was also pointed out the Freddie Ljungberg is injured but we have more than enough cover in that area.

'Freddie has had an inflammation in his foot,' said Wenger.

'We have to check it with a scan. We will see.'

Who do we have as cover for freddie? Usually when he is out wenger plays cesc there but he clearly hates that position as does hleb & pires has now gone to pastures new.

Hleb (is excellent in the position) Rosicky, RvP, Walcott, Smith. No reason to bring in another winger for the sake of a few weeks.

hleb does play there he is great but right now it seems as though arsenal really should have signed salcido who can play centre back and left back. this was one thing i was dredding and i hope its sorted because we have the chance to put things right

I`m really sorry to hear this and this is why i keep saying we need a centre back now who`s gonna be there against man utd

This is typical of arsenals luck reacently, all we needed was another injury hit season, oh well, lets just hope that work make shift back four we had at the end of last season that did us proud can do the same this season, com on Arsenal don't let this get in your way
Walcott
Come on, other than last year, you seem to hve an uncanny knack of not having hardly any injuries. Now your the sme as everyone else the lack of depth in your squad in showing
Boony
You have had a few players leaving through the summer and you need to start getting some in now, especially with this injury news! Guess you have to wait till clubs have all their world cup players back and training before you find out who will be for sale. Hope you get it sorted, and soon!

Fings can't be that dim. The big, big money is about to pour in. Surely you can buy all the good players you need. And if fings break even more, well there's always the inevitable stadium sharing deal. Even more big, big money.

Any word if the reward's been claimed yet for the recovery and return of Teary Henry's lost manhood? He'll need it for the coming season.

No need to panic, Cygan can step into the breach!
