Fabregas Happy With Henry Stay

Cesc Fabregas has revealed the happiness within the Arsenal squad upon Henry decision to stay with the Gunners.

For months on end there was the 'will he, won't he' feeling around Highbury from both players and fans alike. Like me, many people were very worried that we would lose our best player, but also like me, Fabregas was exstatic when he decided to stay.

'All of Thierry's team-mates are so happy he decided to stay with Arsenal,' claimed Cesc.

'There is no doubt that with him at the club we will still be able to challenge in every single competition.'

'To find an adequate replacement was impossible. Our attacking capabilities would have been greatly damaged.'

The temptation for Henry to join Barcelona must have been extraordinary, but the feeling of togetherness and family like qualities at Arsenal was just too much to leave behind. Saying at the time of signing a new contract,

'The truth is I love this club'
