Arsenal Duo Out On Loan

Arsenal youngsters Arturo Lupoli & Vito Mannone have moved to Derby County & Barnsley respectively.

Lupoli will be out on a seasons long loan while the young keeper will stay at the Tykes for just three months.

Lupoli is widely considered an amazing talent and definately one for the future, and the Derby manager is delighted to see him there.

'It's been a six week vigil for us and other clubs have expressed an interest in him.'

'We're delighted he chose Derby to continue his progression.'

The pair join a large number of Arsenal youth players who are currently enjoying a loan period in order to further their career. Nicklas Bendtner, Seb Larsson & Fabrice Muamba are all currently on loan at Birmingham.

Good luck to both players.

I think this will benefit Lupoli enormously. He's a real talent but he's just too lightweight and a season in the championship will do him the power of good. I bet he scores at least 20 injury permitting.

I hope you're right. Great signing for us! Hopefully he'll score against Norwich then have a good game against Stockport in the cup. Come on you rams!

Trust me, this boy sh#ts goals when he sits on the toilet. You'll spend the whole season trying to work out whether he's left or right footed. Capable of poaching and twenty yard screamers. Hope he gets Derby up again, don't have a soft spot for the Rams in particular, it's just opposite Derby station is the nicest chip shop in England!

thats 6 loanees now - larrson, muamba, lupoli, bendtner, gilbert, mannone. I think its gonne hurt us in december due to fixture congestion and injuries. Hope Wenger signs a few more players but i doubt that gonna happen. Cant wait for tommorow though

hes stats are off the chart cant wait to see him being supplied by van persie or rosicky next year

somehow i dont think lupoli will cut it, not through not having enough quality but due to the fact that he is too leight weight, but i guess this is the perfect loan for him in a really rough and tough league, this will make or brake lupoli!!!!

i think that although Lupoli is a good player, he is too lightweight. Out of Arsenals young strikers I think the one who has the best chace of cutting into the first team is Bendtner. Lupoli is a great finisher but Arsenal is a big club, with big players and there are many like him that are better. However, Bendtner has good feet, good positioning (as does Lupoli), however he also has a big physical prescence, and an ariel threat. These are qualities that not many players can offer, and I think, that for that reason, he has a better chance of making the jump to regular first team football, than Lupoli.

I think he will do well in the championship. Wenger says he is one of the most natural finishers he has ever seen. This will be the acis test, I think he will pass with flying colours.
