Thierry Henry To Win Golden Boot

Our latest poll asked Vital Arsenal readers who they thought would finish as the Premierships top scorer this season.

Well you have been voting in your trillions, the polls are closed, the votes have been counted and the results are in.

Even after Thierry Henry's goalless start to the season, Vital Gooners still believe there French wonder striker will finish as top scorer.

Henry has won four out of the last five golden boots and is widely considered the best striker in the world, he certainly is the most consistent.

Henry topped the charts with a world record 83% of the votes, 'closely' (and I use that term loosely) followed by Chelsea's Andrei Shevchencko. A very small amount of Spurs fans voted Tottenham new boy Berbatov but he got about as close to Henry in the votes as he would in a race over 100m.

Lets hope Henry gets his first of the season very soon.

Poll Results In Full:-

* Shevchencko 11%
* Rooney 2%
* Henry 83%
* Bellemy 1%
* D. Bent 1%
* Berbatov 2%

Our latest poll ask where you think the Gunners will finish this season.

I think Henry must be little tired after hectic and massive world cup campaign .I'm sure he will be back with a bang.It is just matter of some time which he needs to get his magical touch back.as we all know Henry rocks

If Fabregas, Rosicky, Hleb, and Walcott can consistently show us the passing skills we know they have every single game than the more important question will be not who is gonna score the most goals, but which one of those boys will have more assists.

Rooney shouldn't be up there. You should have replaced him with Andy Johnson. I think AJ will give Henry and Sheva a run for their money. Roony is an excellent player but he isn't a consistent goal scorer. He creates openings, carves out defences with well timed passes and scores his fairshare of goals but he lacks the constistency to keep hitting the back of the net regularly. AJ on the other hand...

I can actually see Saha scoring quite a few this season. But assuming he stays fit, no one can touch Henry.

What about the old man Kanu? He has already netted 4 in 3 games.

thierry henry is simply the best footballer in the world because he eats football he drinks football he sleeps football he not mad he just passionate champs of the world arsenal

Kanu has had a good start but somehow I just don't think his consistency is upto much!
