Torres Wants Reyes Link Up

Torres Wants Reyes Link Up

As the Jose Antonio Reyes saga rolls on and on and on, Athletico Madrid superstar Fernando Torres has urged the AM board to seal the deal for the Arsenal forward.

Reyes has made it clear he wants a move back to Spain, god has he made it clear, but now it has become apparent that he would be well accepted back in his home land.

Earlier this week Reyes made it known that if Real Madrid, Seville or Athletico Madrid came a knocking then he'd be willing, no, he'd love to move to either of those clubs.

Torres is arguably Athletico's best and most influential player and he wants to link up with Reyes and form at club level the fantastic partnership they have for Spain.

'Hopefully (Reyes will join us). He would bring us a great jump in quality and in addition I have spoken with him and I know that his desire is to come here.'

This is another ugly little saga that I will be extremely glad when it's over.

Another player wnting to leave, REYES IS CLASS!! WATCH HIM IN SPAIN NEBER SEEN THE BEST OF HIM!!! think Wenger has lost the PLOT!!!Lucky last season!! Nearly never made C/LGE. Arsenal should not be relying on other teams results. If SPURS won? NO C?LGE and NO HENRY!!!!!!!!!!!! LOST VEIRA, EDU, PIRES, CAMPBELL, PROBS COLE. IN 2 SEASONS!!! WOTS GOING ON!!!! THIS SEASON IS A SHAMBLES GET WENGER OUT BEFORE HE RUINS EVERYTHING. NO CHANCE OF TITLE. CHELSKI WON`T DROP MANY POINTS AND UTD ARE 5 CLEAR ALREADY. 4th IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. WHY NO ZOKORA AND CARRICK!! OR WOODGATE. THE EMPIRE IS CRUMBLING AM AFRAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What happen to Reyes saying he'd like to go back to Spain but if that wasn't possible he would be happy to stay and work for the team? That was like 3 weeks ago

Y'know, if Club L'Arse were a proper English side, instead of a transplanted Ligue Un unit, someone would have had the marbles to step up at practice and put Reyes in his place. But since this team has become an international way-station to bigger and better clubs, no one seems to much give a damn. Given last season's near-success in the CL, it might seem hard to believe this is happening. But base these circumstances on domestic form, on the need to compete in a league requiring relentless physical commitment, and it's obvious the Gooners have chosen players with the constitution of a daisy. Bon debarrats!

hey cockeroach whenever wenger lets someone go we always end up saying in hindsight it was the best decision...only an idiot would panick after 2 games....2... lord help us. but your probably right...i mean despite several trophies, one season unbeaten and reaching the CL final, the last 2 (again) games have shown us wengers true colours havent they NOT. we should now have a site moderator to keep unintelligent input out of these forums. anyway gunners will soon be banging those goals in so fast and everyone will start oohing and aahing, thats the way of the gunner.
