'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Baptista Gets Silva Service

Brazillian power house, Julio Baptista will have a helping hand to settle in from fellow countryman Gilberto Silva.

Baptista is currently learning how to speak English, but until the time arrives where he is fluent in the Queens' then Arsenal favorite Gilberto will help him to get to grips with life at Arsenal.

Gilberto himself knows how hard it can be to settle into a side in a foreign country, but also realises the value of a friend who speaks the same language.

'It was very important for us to bring him over, he will contribute a lot and I wish him a lot of success. He is another Brazilian to speak Portuguese with me, so it is good.' said Bert.

It seems as though the Arsenal vice captain wants to give something back after he was helped to settle in England by former Arsenal midfielder Edu.

'I will do what I can to help him, the same as Edu did with me when I came over,' he said.

'He did the same job with me as I will try to do with him to help him settle quickly. I am here to help him.

'I have spoken to him about how fantastic the club is and I told him I think he will enjoy everything.'

60 000 seats 22 000 toilets 23 tons of electrical cable. 6 escalators, 13 lifts. I'd say its alright!

Hopefully bap. can do great things at the club.

Well he's got the build and character to do well here just like Gallas, especially if he's gonna rip moanrinho!

i am really lookin forward to this season, it is amazing what a couple of signings can do to a clubs morale and confidence!!!! i am also interested to this brazilian boy 'denilson' play
RVP11
Denilson is apparently the next Ronaldinho!!! Let's just hope he lives up to his expectations.

I'm afraid to shatter your dreams Tugboat but Denilson is a defensive midfielder. However Fran Merida will excede anything Ronaldinho can do, he's skillful AND scores goals. The carling cup should be interesting this year.

dO YOU THINK WE'LLE win it this year>?
Tugboat
i don't think other clubs realise the youth team wenger is slowley building. Merida, barazittte, lupoli, denlson, vela, van der berg, bendtner. No one except arsenal fans no much about these players and i think in three years time arsenal will have assembled an awsome team with the likes of fabregas eboue walcott and van persie reaching there prime. An exciting time for gunners fans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good old Gilberto...everyone's friend!

so have you figured out what has been going on behind the scenes, over the last 7 months, sol campbell, reyes, ashley cole, henry, pires have looked to move away from arsenal, all but one got away, i personally think that their is a hugh problem here.
sffsd
Denilson is not the next ronaldinho, jsut as Ronaldinho was not the next roanldo, just as ronaldo was not the next romario, just as just as just as.
Gaga
maybe not but he wont be the new Gilberto, he may be a defensive now but he will add more Brazilian flair to his game.

It is very important to have someone speaking your language and to have a farmilliar face in the squad. It will help him settle in and get on top form quicker. I think you will do very well this season. Good luck.
