the last 2 times we won there we won the league so could it be a good omen? it feels so good. I have not drunk a drop either but it still feels **** amazing. A-De-Bayor! A-De-Bayor!!! Watched the match in The Hare with my new missus, first time she's watched a match with me, or seen me drink. Was chuffed when she said afterwards that she said she'd loved it and that she loved the atmosphere, and could see herself regularly watching the footy with me, she even put up with me shouting like a goon (though i tried to restain from that... new love etc... the quiet demeanour didn't last too long!) we (the glorious gooners) looked a threat all match. I was prepared to watch us play superbly well with possession again during a game, but with no reward for it, despite rosicky's potent shooting (too soon to call him TR7??? probably, bobby's memory looms large still, but he was superb all game!) and our probing, and Ade's tireless running, whatever anyone says about him, he may look clumsy, he may not have the 'joie de vivre' (?!?) that we love, but by jimminy he has effort and something to offer, as well as Baptista's surging (and skillful) run and shot, hell... the whole team, and match, gave cause for delight. A day to be proud. Perhaps another watershed in the life of this young team. By the way, how often did anyone hear djourou's name mentioned during the game? Thats the best ive seen us against the mancs since we won the league there. The build up to the penalty AMAZING did any one count 32 one-touch passes from back to front. FAB4 and ROSICKY in the center were on the same wavelength and looke brilliant. I agree with TheBeast. We can beat teams that don't stick 10 men behind the ball. That leaves about 15 clubs that do. No wonder we're great in Europe but struggle in the Prem. But I feel that a change is nigh...
