Arsene Wenger is ready to 'rest' five first team players for this evening's game against Ajax.
After finishing top of the heap with one game still to play, Wenger is taking this oppotunity to give his players a rest, and give a couple of the younger lads a run out in the biggest club competition in the world.
“Ljungberg, Pires, Gilberto, Sol Campbell and Jens Lehmann will be rested,” he said. “All the others are in the group. It is a chance for us to be top of the group unbeaten, bounce back from the disappointment at Bolton and give a chance to some younger players.”
However, some big names will feature, such as Henry, Toure, van Persie and Reyes, which suggests Wenger would like to finish the group with six wins out of six.
Bergkamp will miss out with a 'tweaked hamstring'.

Thierry Henry
