Barnett Slapped With Suspension

Barnett Slapped With Suspension

Scummy Scumbag, Jonathan Barnett, has had his football agent's licence susspended for 18 months for his part in the Ashley Cole tapping up saga.

Ashley Cole's agent will not be able to work in the world of football for 18 months after an independent Football Association disciplinary commission hit him with a ban after a spokes person claimed the commision was, 'wholly satisfied that Mr Barnett was a prime mover in the setting up of the meeting'.

Barnett has also been fined £100,000, which is probably peanuts compared to the fee he nabbed for Cole's transfer to Chelsea.

While most will feel this is too late, at least someone is begining the fight against these horrible, greedy characters who pretend to give a crap about their charges yet they only have pound signs in their eyes.

it's a start. A nice follow up would be for his bedroom ceiling to fall in on his ******** repugnant slug body, and to tip boiling chipfat on himself. the cünt. »»Arsene Knows««

It's a 9 month ban with 9 months suspended.

This is ridiculous. He should have been suspended before, not after he brokered Cashleys move to Chelsea, making lots of money in the process. This coming almost two years after the now infamous meeting! Makes a mockery of justice.

He will make more than 100k profit from the cashley transfer so the fine was pointless. Good to see him banned but as he profited from the illegal dealings what good has it actually done? I doubt it will stop it happening in the future.
