Late change: Djourou injured, Hoyte in. Hoyte moves to left back Billy in the centre!!

well, very satisfactory result. Good composure, could have had the early toure goal, but the lino made the right call, like it or not.Shame about djorou pickign up an injury before the match, but i think all gooners can take heart from the performance of hoyte at left back, who did very well, and displayed more promise there than i have seen in his previous performances. Also our first glimpse of Gallas at centre back, and he and toure seem to already have a very good understanding and solid relationship. Wenger's post-match interview suggest he will be out for 3 weeks minimum though. We're well versed in jiggling the back four about though, from last season :) AND thierry gets his 2nd headed goal in a week, from another sumptuous toure cross. more of the same please, you gooners - well done, boys. »»Arsene Knows««

Eboue cross Wingston, but I know that was just a typo ;)
Rocky7
oh balls, and i was doing so well with that summarisation. That's my five live roving reporter contract torn up before they even conceived it :) »»arsene Knows««

But you'll be a shoe in for ITV!! They get things wrong all the time, like when Peter Dury rather arrogantly told the audience that nobody would know who the last Arsenal player to score against a visiting Portugese side in Europe was......I knew it was Colin Pates where as he had to get a researcher to tell him. I also know it was a guy called Issiahas who knocked us out :(
Rocky7
also, Peter Drury called Eboue french! Still, it's not all bad, at least it was Clive 'ManYoo' Tyldsley commentating. »»Arsene Knows««

ARGH!!! WASN'T clive tyldsley. two mistakes in one night - I hear channel five a-calling... :) »»Arsene Knows««

Well done Arsenal a great win set up by the excellence of Eboue and then Gallas. Let's hope Gallas and Djourou are not badly injured but at least there's another goddamn international break coming up. The Beast's absence suggests to me he'll start on Saturday. Also I think it's time Fabregas gets a rest.

Time to unleash the beast Wenger. I think that Arsenal will play best with this team. 4 defenders:(ignoring injuries), Clichy, Gallas, Toure, Eboue. Mids: Beast, Rosicky, Fabregas, Hleb/Walcott. Strikers: Henry, van Persie/Adebayour.
Tugboat
Excellent performance. Make no mistake, Porto are a good side and we made them look very ordinary. Our new found ability to cross the ball is really hurting teams. Anyways, I'll do a little summary a bit later.

did anyone see the hi 5 between gallas and toure?? unbelievable combination. who would have dreamt it. this is going to be the best team in the world in 2-3 years time if we arent already
