'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rosicky A Happy Gooner

It has to be said that out of all of Arsene Wenger's singings from outside the Premiership (and by that I mean other than William Gallas) Tomas Rosicky appears to be the player who has settled in the easiest.

In his short time at Arsenal so far, Rosicky has oozed class, slickness and skill, slotting seamlessly into the Gunners team.

For the majority of players, adjusting to a new league takes time, and plenty of it (just ask Shevchencko) but for Tomas it probably took 90 minutes.

He looks a certainty to become an integeral cog in the Arsenal machine, offering all the attacking prowess that Pires brought to the team, but with the added bonus of tackling capabilities.

Indeed, Tomas has taken to life at Arsenal just as much as we Gooners have taken to him.

'Before I moved to Arsenal, I had been saying they would be the right team for my style of play,' he said.

'That has been confirmed now. We play extremely running-based and active football which I like very much.'

'There are two options of formation, in the second one I play more in the middle,' he continued.

'But I like both of them because I have a major role in attack anyway.

'However, on the other hand, I have to defend a lot too. But every player has to defend so I cannot complain.'

Now if he'd just tell me how to pronounce his name I'd be a more than happy bunny.

He's a great player and has a very very bright future at the club.

I think it's pronounced "Rozishky", that's how some commentator at the world cup was pronouncing it, and I take it that they do some research beforehand about how to pronounce names and stuff.

I've heard that it's pronounced more like "Rositski", but I don't know anyone who can speak Czech. Fantastic player to watch and a brilliant signing by Arsene, getting in first before the worldcup

His name is pronounced rodsitsky!! Like the commentators say it. I thought they were saying it wrong but I have a Cezch friend and she said that its right.

Sorry, that was meant to be Rodzitski!!

His name is pronounced "Rozhitshky" mate, thanks to my Czech missus for clearing that up! LOL Gonna be a class act for us gooners this season, cant wait for a trademark 30 yarder against the spurts!

It is pronouned Ro-zit-ski. Anyway it doesn't matter. He's going to be our best. Mark my words, this guy will change this club for the best. His goal against Hamburg has helped our mentality so much, because he showed us how to shoot. Clearly its rubbed off on van Persie cause his first goal he could (and would have a month ago) passed it. Even Toure has been caught having a go at goal. Now all we need is Baptista and it would be our best team since 2003

Rosicky got the magic dose from Arsene's cupboard. Other's like JM have souur/bitter graves in his cupboard...LOL.
