Squad To Face CSKA Moscow

Arsene Wenger has named his 18 man squad to take to the icey fields of Moscow.

The one suprise inclusion is that of Brazilian under19's captain, Denilson. Denilson was captured in the final minutes of the transfer window and as yet has still to feature in the first team.

However, as with Theo Walcott last season, the extra places on the bench in the Champions League means more opportunities for younger players to experience what it is like to be in a CL squad, even if they don't get to play.

Although Arsene Wenger has always maintained that he would not put a player in the squad if he didn't think he had the ability to play in that match.

Arsenal squad:
Jens Lehmann
Manuel Almunia
William Gallas
Gael Clichy
Kolo Toure
Justin Hoyte
Johan Djourou
Gilberto
Denilson
Alexander Hleb
Cesc Fabregas
Alexandre Song
Theo Walcott
Tomas Rosicky
Thierry Henry
Robin van Persie
Emmanuel Adebayor
Jeremie Aliadiere

its a good squad to me and its something interesting considering we have 5 strikers if anything 6. like to see who is going to get their chance.

if justin hoyte, plays rb,then that could be our only slight weakness, but he is getting better each week, hopefully 3 points and we can take it easy til the knockout stages.
