Djourou: We Will Win The War

Djourou: We Will Win The War

After last nights defeat in Moscow, young defender Johan Djourou believes we will get better.

Only having watched highlights of the game all I can say is that we looked poor, lots of possession, not enough end product, and forgetting about Henry's 'goal' for a second, did we really deserve anything?

Djourou has almost seamlessly stepped into the centre of defence and has fast become an established centre back, with his latest comments he has also proved he has a wise head on top of his young shoulders.

Not wanting to dwell on the loss he said,

'We have to get on with it and get ready for the next match,' he told the club's official website.

'We lost the game, but we did not lose the war and we are going to be better again, that is for sure.'
