'If It's Football, It's Vital'

We Want Our Clock End Back

There is no denying that Ashburton Grove is the most state of the art, visually & superb stadium in world club football, but something is missing.

Most Gooners who have visited the arena have initially been in awe, but after a time, we realise that this magnificant stadium is missing a few personal touches.

We, as Arsenal fans, want to know that this is our home, we want to be reminded of our history and heritage, we want our clock end back.

As some of you may know, the club has, for quite sometime now, planned to move the old clock to Ashburton Grove and mount it on one of the outer walls, which is ok I suppose, but wouldn't it be better to have it inside the stadium?

Well the boys at 'The Online Gooner' have set up a petition to try and convince the board to give the fans what we want, and we here at Vital Arsenal are fully supporting thier campaign.

If you want to support this worth cause Click This Link and 'sign' the petition.

yeah I think every club needs to keep historical touches in their ground ... it will never truly feel like home otherwise !

It would look stupid and out of place. We have a new stadium which we have played 6 games in. None of the games have been nail biting thrillers so the atmosphere has yet to really take off. People are also too stupid to try different routes home hence they leave early and the stadium is empty at the final whistle.

Chuck it in the skip with the rest of S!itebury!

The stadium is great, and as stated already, awe sums up most of the comments I've heard. I have to say the sheet version of the clock last w/e made me smile, but also made me feel that we need to do something to enshrine the heritage of Highbury within out new home......the Clock would be ideal Plus pain the hideous concrete between the tiers, oh so ugly

Let's face it, the club care about the needs of the fans like a cat cares about christmas (ask Aaln Esparza). The club never listened to what we wanted for the stadium, i.e the clock, naming a stand after Wenger. Don't get me wrong, I love the stadium, but the club really don't care what we want and they won't until the bottom falls out of football and they need us again.

Have a Clock End, a stand named after Wenger, cover the concrete with something red and white, and more pictures of the Arsenal! Then it's truely home.

Chuck some Caravans round the pitch, then it's truely home!

71 2004. You've still yet to formulate an argument that beats that one. I invite you to keep trying though.
