Kolo Toure signs new contract at Arsenal
Kolo Toure has committed his future to Arsenal by signing a new long-term contract.
The Ivorian joined the Club on Valentine’s Day 2002 and, in four years, has become the bedrock of Arsène Wenger’s defence.
Now 25, he has 40 caps for his country and made his first World Cup appearance in Germany over the summer
. "I can see myself staying here [at Arsenal] for the rest of my career," said Toure. "Why would I want to leave. I love my football here, my family is settled here and the club is ambitious. It is fantastic."
