Adebay-Sore

Just as he seemed to be finding his feet with the Gunners Manu Adebayor suffered a thigh injury in the 2-0 defeat of West Brom in the Carling Cup.

Arsene Wenger said the Togoloese frontman will miss at least 3 weeks.

Arsčne Wenger said: "It doesn`t look too good. He will miss Everton and maybe more. This type of injury usually takes 21 days."

Hopefully this will give other players the chance to showcase their talents, and Ade does return he picks up where he left off.

It's been a day for name based metaphors in today's headlines. I feel for Ade, I hope it opens the door for Ali. (Sounds like we have a forward line consisting of zen monks).

well, Wenger is a buddhist, it's quite possible that we are a secret crack troop of shaolin masters - that would explain all these triangles and football that has to flow like 'chi'... »»Arsene Knows««

I can just imagine the mantras that would be repeated in the dressing room, the centre backs would be reciting, 'long balls make graves' and for Gilberto 'all life is buffering.'

Hope he gets well soon. A good chance for other up and coming strikers to showcase their stuff.
